NTS Retail News, December 2020

Besides announcing the latest release of our software solution – NTS Retail Suite X11 – there are a couple of very interesting news to share.

We are happy to report news on VR eKiosk, a joint project together with a variety of hardware and software partners, which was recently launched in 23 locations across Germany. It provides VR Bank customers in Germany with a one-stop self-service solution to purchase SIM cards, gift cards and even event tickets.

Last but not least, there are two pieces of information regarding fiscalization regulations in Europe: Since September, the new regulation (“Kassensicherungsverordnung”) is in place in Germany so we took a closer look at what this means for telcos and their stores. You can read about it on our blog post.

In a similar context, we are proud to announce that our software reached compliance with NF525, the certification attributed to POS solutions meeting the French fiscalization standard.
