Wilhering, Austria – The Swiss telecommunications provider Sunrise has been relying on the NTSwincash retail management software since 2002. Now Sunrise decided for an upgrade to the latest X3 version of the software.
Before the upgrade was performed, Sunrise decided to restructure its internal IT systems in order to improve the quality of the company’s internal fraud management and promotional offer administration. “Thanks to the X3 upgrade, all promotional offers can now be entirely represented in NTSwincash. This allows for efficient controlling processes, specific analyses and better monitoring of all national, regional and local campaigns,” explains Sebastian Prange, Chief Sales Officer at Sunrise Communications AG.
By deploying NTSwincash X3, the discount handling system has also been enhanced: Before the upgrade, employees could grant discounts at their own discretion, whereas now each shop has a monthly discount budget. Upon reaching the budget’s defined maximum, a corresponding warning message appears. “This makes discount handling much more transparent and efficient and provides us with a better control mechanism,” adds Prange. In addition to that, the upgrade also included the implementation of the operations manager module: This tool serves to proactively monitor the entire technical environment in real-time. All data interfaces, network components, databases and terminals can thus be monitored by the Sunrise Support Team, which enables them to identify certain trends and problems at an early stage. The direct integration of the web shop of the accessories supplier SEMI/Autronic rounds off the upgrade.
“The biggest challenge was adhering to the strict time frame of only four months. But thanks to the remarkable level of coordination between the various teams, which can be attributed to the many years of collaboration, it was possible to meet the tight schedule,” explains Günther Schrammel, CEO at NTS Retail.
