NTS Retail receives silver medal from sustainability assessment platform EcoVadis
We are very happy to share that NTS Retail has once more been awarded the silver medal in acknowledgement of the company’s efforts in sustainable business practice. Continuing the sustainability journey that has been awarded with several silver ratings in the past (the latest of which in 2022), we were able to demonstrate and highlight the company’s sustainability efforts in four main categories: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, sustainable procurement, and carbon.
During this current period, we were able to increase our rating by 10 points, thus earning us the silver medal award and ranking us in the top 15% of companies surveyed by EcoVadis.
A transparent international platform to monitor sustainability efforts
As a ratings platform, EcoVadis enables companies to monitor the sustainability rating of their vendors, suppliers, and partners. Companies are reviewed based on a comprehensive questionnaire that requires the submitters to provide information on company policies and measures in the following categories:
- Environment
- Ethics
- Labor & human rights
- Sustainable procurement
EcoVadis members can review each other’s scorecards on the platform with a detailed scoring on the specific areas. This way, it’s simple to assess at a glance what kinds of CSR practices a company is engaged in and how these efforts are scored against the pool of companies rated on the platform.
